Meet the Mascots: Sussie and Derpy Tiger

Derpy Tiger and Sussie are featured in the hit animated show KPop Demon Hunters. In the story, Huntr/x is a popular musical act by day and a squad of supernatural hunters by night, using their voices to repair the Honmoon and protect the human world from demonic threats. Much like the show's main heroes and rivals, these mascots have gained a massive following of fans worldwide and are sure to be a memorable highlight for audiences of all ages during the parade.

An Incredible Year for KPop Demon Hunters

It's no exaggeration to say that 2025 has been the year of KPop Demon Hunters. The Sony Animation production has risen to number one as the most-watched film on Netflix, received 5 Grammy nominations, and the vocal talents behind the main characters—Ejae (Rumi), Audrey Nuna (Mira), and Rei Ami (Zoey)—gave a live performance on a major late-night show, delivering a breathtaking spectacular act.

Making things even better, Ejae, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami are also scheduled to make an appearance during the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Viewers can anticipate a potentially "Golden" performance from the group.

Future Plans for the Franchise?

A new feature film, KPop Demon Hunters 2, is said to be in the works, with a potential release in the year 2029. While it's a long wait, the immense popularity for the first movie indicates that fans will gladly wait for a follow-up worthy of the first installment. In the meantime, fans can enjoy the amazing inflatable versions of Derpy Tiger and Sussie at the holiday parade.
